I take the opposite view. I wish we had more people of the Founders caliber but alas we do not produce enough of them today. Thank God though we do have a few.
Is the problem "not enough Founders caliber"?
Or is it too many Barack Obamas, Nancy Pelosis, Harry Reids, Chuck Schumers, Dick Durbins, John McCains, Charlie Rangels, Maxine Waters, Bill and Hillary Clintons, Bill Ayers, etc?
Seems to me that, ever since the Founding, there's been a comparative shortage of "Founders caliber" statesmen. But I cannot recall an era when we've had anywhere near the current level of corrupt, anti-American snakes, weasels and thugs.

Agreed. We need many more of them. I was just saying that our Founders would not like what they see were they to come back for a look see.
