I can sot of relate visually.... when I was a young child, probably around 8 .. I was looking at my fathers World War books.....I saw a gigantic pit full of naked human skeletons, their faces distorted, piles upon piles of dead starved bodies. Asking my mother what that was she said that bad people had done this to good people. But went no further.

That photo remains today etched in my mind, along with others, for as an adult I investigated the Holocaust on my own.

When you go into the History, when Eisenhower made the Nazi leaders and the Polish Elites tour the camps after the war ended.....and had many of them bury the dead.. It leaves a profound affect on your heart and mind.

I will not forget that research....nor all learned...for days I investigated everything I could find. More than on occasion overwhelmed and in tears.

MY BIL and SIL toured one of the camps about 7 years ago. My SIL said you could actually feel the evil as you approached the gate, by the time they had completed the tour she was physically ill.

Our schools would do a great service to future generations by abandoning the practice of showing Algore’s movie in every grade, and instead replacing it with the nine-hour documentary “Shoah”.
