Honesty it just wastes ammo. Well aimed shots are far superior to a spray and pray technique. I’m just saying. I don’t think that the government should involved in determining the rate of fire for weapons. But I do just fine with a semi.
I disagree. MGs do have their place as area weapons that cant easily be replaced by semis. I wouldn’t categorize are weapons as ‘spray/pray’.
So what is your point? The 1/4 million machine guns now in civilian hands are owned by collectors, aficionados and folks who just plain enjoy shooting. If the fun of shooting a machine gun has to be explained, you will never understand.
