This editorial makes a great point, there's many civilians that have ignored and/or broken laws, rules and ethics in the executive branch without any being fired.

Are there no good, patriotic men and women in the upper brass anymore? Any patriots among the CIA whom saw what Barry did to the former seals and State Department? Any patriots who know Barry’s secrets who can stop this madness before our Country is destroyed. What the heck does the NSA have on these people? Affairs don’t destroy careers anymore.

From the article:

“Suspicions are that Gaouette’s firing by President Obama was due to this strike force commander disobeying orders when he ordered his forces on Sept. 11 to “assist and provide intelligence for” military forces ordered into action by U.S. Army General Carter Ham, who was then commander of the United States Africa Command, against terrorist forces attacking the American Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.”

Nothing curious about it.

He wants “his” people in command positions.

The only “curious” thing is exactly what he intends to do to the rest of US when his people are in control...

I think we already know. Seen this movie before.

The first thing any good socialist does is replace everyone in the military command with people loyal to them.

Then they use the military against the civilians.
