Here in Toledo, the supermarket loud speakers announced every 15 minutes that EBT cards were not being accepted presently and there was no problem. The dumba**es running those stores that continued to accept “limitless EBT” cards need to be collecting food stamps themselves I think.

They were told to do so by Wal-Mart headquarters in Arkansas from other articles I’ve read.

IIRC, they called management and management told them to take them.
Another Walmart store closed for the duration and didn’t suffer this problem.

Lesson: It is called “initiative.” Show some.

A free for all wherein the entire store is emptied, equipment damaged and possibly injury to their employees and other customers.
