How Does the Tea Party Effects the Republican Party?

How Does the Tea Party Affect the Republican Party?

There is an opinion that the Tea Party Movement diminishes the Republican Party.

The most important opinion is the Tea Party Patriots’ opinion. The Republican Party’s direction must weaken before achieving the Tea Party’s objective of a constitutional government.

My motto if you will, “Tea Party Patriots don't make the Republican Party weaker, Tea Party Patriots make the Republican Party Conservative.

The grass roots Tea Party Movement is unique because all they ask for in exchange for their vote is a constitutional government. I would love to hear every American demand candidates who favor their oath to the Constitution. They are not as hard to come by as you might think. However, I advise avoiding candidates who appear career minded. A former representative can make as much money as the career representative; the only difference is the former representative will have to work for it.

I think you’re on to something . . . surprising that I’ve never seen the idea here before.

I think someone doesn’t know the difference between “effects” and “affects.”

The Republican Party diminishes the Republican Party. It is Democrat Lite, not conservative.

Everyone knows what the Tea Party stands for. What does the Republican Party stand for? I’m not sure anyone can answer that simple question.

I think the TEA Party is the closest thing to the “middle class” in America that 0bama is always babbling about that he wants to save.

They are two parties. The GOP will never embrace the Tea Party. They had their chance but have only dismissed and marginalized the Tea Party at every turn.

My take and experience with the Tea Party:

Though the Tea Party has only been endorsing Republican candidates lately that isnt’t to say they aren’t bipartisan. They endorse candidates based on their character rather than their “swagger” watching their action rather than what they say; the type of politicians that aren’t for sale to the highest bidder who are principled, uncorrupt, understand the necessity of preserving our Constitution, and have a reverence for our heritage, our Founding Fathers, and God. Typically most Tea Party members are good, hardworking, God fearing people that are independent, have good common sense, and pitch in to help others when needed. If the political winds shift they will vote on the best candidate for the job irregardless of political affiliation. They just want whats best for our nation irregardless of what you see on TV or whats reported by the MSM. They are not all fat old white men or rednecks waving Confederate flags. There are a large number professional people from just about every walk of life and they welcome people of diversity that are concerned with their country and the direction its heading...

I really do not believe Tea Party Patriots should exert any more effort to reform the Republican Party. Just look at how the old guard elitists treat Cruz and Lee. What must it feel like to not only wage war against Democrats, but also have your own party shooting at you with the same level of vitriol. It is insane and we need to stop it and rid ourselves of the backstabbers. This insane situation has gone on since Goldwater. The hard core Republican Party is incorrigible. I read somewhere that Cruz may run as an independent. Why not as a Tea Party candidate? The Tea Party has name recognition and an established platform that immediately resonates with a broad swath of the American public. Cruz could be the guy to effect a breakaway with a real chance of actually winning the election. If this were to happen, the Republican Party would quickly become irrelevant as a party without a message.

I think if conservatives leave the Republican Party, those left may as well be Democrats...the RINOs are closer to dims than to conservatives.

Are they two parties or one?

I assumed those who had an opinion on the topic knew that the Tea Party is a movement, not a political party. I apologize, so the answer is "one".

the difference between “effects” and “affects.”

Did my use of the word "affects" meaning having an influence on cause you some confusion.

I could have said, ""effects" meaning brought about by the cause but the affect on the Republican Party hasn’t had an effect yet. I trust the confusion I caused didn’t affect you badly.

BTW, did you have an opinion?

All of the true-blue conservatives I know in the Republican Party are also TEA Party members.

This is my take: The TEA Party members of the Republican Party are the ones who have devised the Republican Party Platform. It is the voice of the grassroots no matter what the RINO establishment says.

If you really want to know what the TEA Party really believes download a copy of the RNC Platform. Read it. Then download a copy of the DNC platform and read that one.

Then, if you really want to understand it all, get a copy of the Constitution and quiz yourself as to which one platform lines up with our Founding document.

The TEA Party is the 21st century version of the very first Tea Party.

get a copy of the Constitution

Been there, did it, got the tee-shirt.

The result for those who favor the Republican form of government guaranteed by the Constitution was the grass roots Tea Party Movement.

One enjoyable aspect of becoming a Tea Party Patriot is that any discussions regarding my political position became simpler to explain. All of my political positions have roots in the words of the Constitution.

Discussions about the Constitution would be pointless if not for one simple fact. Regardless of the different views expressed about the Constitution, the words in the Constitution remain unchanged. The oath the President took to defend the Constitution has not changed. The limited “legislative Powers herein granted” have not changed. The Bill of Rights has not changed.
