Exactly. Tying in with this, from: The Threat We Face.
"The first of these features is their alienation from country: If you ask progressives about their patriotic feeling, they will tell you that they dont think of themselves first as Americans but as citizens of the world. That even has a Harvard imprimatur. They are, in fact, so profoundly alienated from their country as to be in some sense foreigners to it. They are hostile to its history and to its core values, which they see as reflections of a society that has been guilty of racism and oppression on an epic scale. And they are fundamentally opposed to its constitutional arrangements which the framers specifically designed to thwart what they deemed wicked projects to redistribute income and share individual wealth."
" This is perhaps the hardest feature of their progressive adversaries for conservatives to comprehend. It is difficult to imagine that people as privileged by Americas generosity as Barack Obama and his entourage of despoilers should be so alienated from their country as to feel themselves in it but not of it."
The Threat we face is already here....it’s nothing that’s coming... just more of it and faster.
Meanwhile too many Americans still are in denial or willfully hide their heads in the sand.
Thanks for that link. I would have missed that article otherwise!
The reason that the Progressive Left rejects the traditions and values that make America great is their rejection of Christianity. To replace the spiritual fulfillment of Christianity, they have devised a new religion of Utopianism. I call it living in the fantasy world on the Unicorn Farm. There are the farm’s domesticated animals—the useful tools—their Communist masters in government and their spokesmen in the media.
Utopianism got its big push in the 60s when huge numbers of Baby Boomers flocked to the universities to avoid the draft. In place at that time were professors, entrenched by the tenure system, who were Communist sympathizers. Many were actual Communist agents sent into the universities to influence the teaching staffs and impressionable youth towards a communist overthrow from within. Because of the draft, many of these youth became what was known as professional students. They became fully indoctrinated and when the economy during the Carter years killed the job market, these professional students sought jobs as professors. Professors, like Bill Ayers, are at work now, making sure the Unicorn Farm has the collective working for their Utopian goals and transforming America to a Communist Utopia.
Along with his mother (University of Washington coffee house beatnik), and Communist family friend, Frank Marshall Davis, it was Communist professors that mentored Zer0 during his receptive University years. Zer0 is the culmination of the Utopianists’ dream to use America’s huge reservoir of wealth to transform America. When they are all through, America will be a back water nation of slaves to a system of high tech computer systems designed to control human beings from cradle to grave. The HAL 9000 of Arthur C. Clarke’s Space Odyssey will be a piker compared to what is in store for the citizens of America.
