No, he would be an unlikely pick to observe Obama because he is a prominent personality and would be acting in a public venue - any attempt to perform some sort of psychiatric evaluation or even to control the conversation to the extent that he could develop meaningful information while in a group of fellow visitors would be obvious to all present and eventually broadcast to the outside world - already people are guessing that Krauthammer was there for some sort of psychiatric purpose, probably the last thing the White House wants to get around - otherwise his opinions would be cursory and superficial, with not much more depth than could be developed by watching a few of Obama's unscripted pressers - and then there's the problem of how to follow up on his evaluation - his "findings" would have to be further substantiated and fleshed out - why involve him to begin with when world-class staff physicians and consultants are available to the administration already......
Krauthammer's sentiments are apparently conservative, to the extent that being a RINO Cruz-hater qualifies one as being conservative, and he seems to genuinely dislike Obama - but as he himself says, "I was young once too" - his dalliance with the 'rats might well have included some questionable activities known to his fellow lefties at the time which would be embarrassing if publicized now, and maybe could be used to try to get him to tone down his criticisms, even to the point of agreeing with Juan.....
