Yes, I read about that. The town of Tusayan, just south of the Grand Canyon, has raised $325,000 to open parts of Grand Canyon NP, but the Bastard-in-Chief says no.

But here's my point: Gov Jerry Brown of Cal says he will DISOBEY our federal deportation laws in his state. So a precedent has been set. Why can't Gov Jan Brewer of AZ do the same thing with the federal closing of a park in HER state?

I'm just so sick of spineless Republicans refusing to push the envelope. It's in Arizona!

TAKE THE DAMN PARK BACK!!!

You have an excellent point. Politicians have been not enforcing and ignoring plenty of Govt. laws when it applies to their agenda.

According to the WSJ article the Gov’s office has appealed to the NPS, but the NPS says NO.
