From the products page:

Kinetic Sand is WABA Fun’s first product that breathes motion. Easy-to-shape sand that molds into simple desktop designs. Playing with Kinetic Sand is a magical and mesmerizing experience, giving a moment of relaxation for both young and old.

Note: Kinetic 2.5KG ships in a labeled polybag, not in the box pictured.

To our INTERNATIONAL customers, please note that at this time, all our products must ship from the US. We are working on establishing local agents in Europe and Hong Kong, but currently these are not yet available. We know international shipping charges can be very expensive and we are working quickly to resolve this issue.

Cool stuff, but I'm not too big on the anti-microbial part. With all the anti-microbial plastics used in toys and whatever that all end up in landfills, we might be breeding some really nasty anti-microbial resistant microbes.

Seems like the fun would wear off in five minutes.

Cheaper...get a box of corn starch and cold water. Non-Newtonian, time-independent viscosity, shear-thickening, dilatant fluids are fun.

THIS doesn’t look like a new type of Monopoly which took the entertainment sales by storm and continues still today. Rather, it looks like a one-time gimmick which allows one to slice “sand” and will lose it’s allure very quickly.

I guess I’m missing the point. I can do this with play dough AND transfer the comics onto it.

I have a dear friend who is working with autistic kids and THIS sand therapy has proven to be very effective.
It was conceived by a woman in Sweden and has offered so break through for these kids.

It actually very interesting, from what my friend has shared with me. I didn’t know it had been marketed as a ‘toy’ for adults and kids.
