What’s really scary is that both our stories were from years ago when grown people should have had at least an inkling. The adults coming up today are further removed from such. Just think of how many will be totally clueless when the light switch doesn’t magically make light and they can’t post their befuddlement on facebook.
In 2008 when hurricane Ike hit, as the storm was moving onshore, people were calling into the radio stations complaining that the power companies weren’t out in the middle of the storm repairing the power lines.
The level of stupidity out of these people was just amazing.
