Didn’t they find her? I think her name is Kim Phuc. If I remembe correctly she is now a UN Goodwill Ambassador. I think she might live in Canada. I could be wrong.

Yes an quite a story. Initially America was blamed but it was the South Vietnamese Air Force. A superb job was done to heal her burns. She was on a plane to Cuba but asked for political asylum or refugee status at Gander, Newfoundland. Same place where US aircraft were diverted 9/11. She got it. Married and lives in Canada has University Honours.
Irrespective of whether who did this to the little girl pictured, she is in distress, somebody will let us know hopefully about her disposition eventually.
