I think Ms. O'Bagy is pushed out of public view to protect McCain, Obama, Kerry, etc.

She had a high profile at The Institute for the Study of War, and was author of numerous reports on Syria:

My concern is that "Elizabeth O'Bagy" didn't seem to exist before the Syria advocacy. As in no background whatsoever, less documentation than Obama himself. Where are the traces of online activity that accompany every other 26-year-old in America (and beyond)? How can any student go to a top college without leaving a digital trace? And how does this person with zero job experience end up as a "senior" researcher, get to author Washington Post articles, and get the ear of the Secretary of State and one of the most powerful Senators?

I don't think that's her real identity. Who is she really, and who does she really work for? Everything about her screams "covert ops". But whose operative is she?
