You don’t need a ‘permit’ to ride a motorcycle in DC.
Just go there and drive around a bit.

Obama must be crapping his diaper. 2 mllion riders converging on DC and he is going to give a speech as to why we need to bomb a place that has done nothing to us.
This is getting interesting.
The permit was for a "non-stop" ride through the city; meaning they block cross traffic, etc. By not granting the permit, for what ever reason, DC officials have just gaurenteed that traffic inside the beltway will be 100 times more screwed up than normal :-)
Personally, I think the denial was based in liberal activism, and I find it hilarious (and inspiring) that the bikers are going anyway.
