Their keyboard player, Ian McLagan, ended up moving to Austin, TX of all places. He’s done session and concert work with people ranging from Bob Dylan to Guns ‘n’ Roses’ Izzy Stradlin to James McMurtry.

No kidding- I know of Ian’s work with the Stones, too- both studio and on the road I believe, some of their best shows imo in the early-mid 70s

Austin, TX is big into the music and film industry. Many movies have been filmed around there. It claimed to be the “Music Capital of the World” and SXSW (South by Southwest) is a huge music festival they’ve held for the past 25 years and there’s the tv show, Austin City Limits. Several celebs have homes there - Plant from Led Zepplin, Willie Nelson lives nearby, Billy Bob Thornton, Lance Armstrong (whatever), Matthew McConaughey, Roger Staubach (70s Dallas Cowboys) has a home outside Austin, Jesse James and Sandra Bullock lived there and I think she still has the house, Kevin Costner, etc.
