Yes, I’ve heard you can get it anywhere, including in your eyes. That would be horrible. I let it go too long before I went to the doctor. But still, I got off easy; it was on my side. It burned and stung and itched like crazy for a good six or eight months. Thought it would never end. Definitely don’t want to go through it again. I’ll ask about the shot next time I see the doctor.
