Jerusalem Post columnist Caroline Glick explained to WMAL this morning how Obama’s fecklessness over Syria has put Israel in danger, not because Israel needs the US to defend it from Syria, but rather how much it emboldens enemies like Iran who will no longer believe that American statements have any credibility.
She also says that Obama has turned the United States into a global laughing stock with the way he’s gutted the American military for no rhyme or reason, how he’s essentially left Afghanistan to the Taliban, his support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt who is an enemy of not only America but of American allies in the region, how he’s hurt America’s credibility with Arab partners in the region like Saudi Arabia and how he’s hurt America’s relationship with Israel. She says no American government has been less trusted than the Obama administration in the 50 years of America and Israel’s strategic alliance.

A distraction to Iran would be good about now. Iran has a surprisingly large number of dams that provide it with hydroelectric power. Were an important one or two of these dams to fail, it would give them something to occupy their time for a month or two. Few casualties, but serious inconvenience.

I thought it was quite interesting when Glick said Israel felt this administration was attempting to provoke a war between Syria and Israel.

And Glick didn't even mention Ubama's sodomization and feminization of the once-proud US military.

A Fundamental Transformer has reasons not readily discernible or comprehensible to ordinary Americans.
One must parse his rhetoric, especially his early campaign speeches, to learn what he has intended from the very outset. Subtlety can be very deceptive, but acknowledging the speaker to be fundamentally dishonest can be helpful.
Technology has significantly advanced since then. I can imagine a modern dam buster as being quite small. Dropped into the dam lake, it would slowly swim at the optimum depth until it reached the dam, then it would use a long drill to drill a 4’ long, 1” hole, that it would then fill with a hard dowel made from advanced explosives, far more powerful than plastic explosives like C-4 and Semtex. If it could create a one foot hole through the dam, with considerable internal fracturing, the water would do the rest.
The US has been aware of such threats for years, so has emplaced skirts and other security to protect its dams. But I imagine Israel could fab something up in short order that would be full of plausible deniability.
Under Obama, we are the worst kind of friend and the best kind of enemy.
