I have Pulmonary Fibrosis. The first thing a new doctor asks is how long have you smoked? They automatically think COPD because I'm on 02. Most have never heard of this disease and certainly how to treat it There isn't even a code for IPF so it gets lumped in respiratory , even though as people die each year as from Breast Cancer.
