U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO-S.C.) opted not to meet with South Carolina voters during the August recess of the United States Congress so a group of local activists brought a cardboard cutout of the fiscal liberal to a town hall meeting in North Charleston, S.C. this week.
Who did show up to meet with Grahams constituents?
Lowcountry businesswoman Nancy Mace and S.C. Sen. Lee Bright both of whom are challenging Graham in next Junes Republican primary. A third challenger, former congressional candidate Richard Cash, was invited but did not attend the gathering which was organized by local Tea Party leaders with assistance from Freedomworks, a national conservative advocacy organization.
Graham was also extended an invitation to participate but declined.
One of the more effective anti-Graham narratives emerging in this race is that the warmongering, privacy-assailing, tax-hiking lawmaker has become a creature of Washington who is out of touch with the people he represents.
This sort of thing will only serve to reinforce that perception
LET'S LUGAR LINDSEY!! The rallying cry for 2014!
You can run Grahamnesty, but you can’t hide.
And TEA Party members should make the point that the cardboard cutout would be a better representative because at least it wouldn’t be voting against the wishes of its constituents.
Graham WAS with his constituents — al Qaeda and
the terrorists he supports at a second location.

Lugar Linda!!!
The RINO’s better wake up.
Get with the program or get on down the road.
A superb idea, and one whose wit that translates well with voters. I hope it spreads to other town halls, even for RINOs who are not running, like McCain and Flake.
*******
In essence, he refused to appear before his employers. Just goes to show the contempt that Graham and other politicians like him have for their constituients.
LET’S LOSE LINDSEY!!!
Graham will Face the Nation but not his own people in South Carolina.
I appreciate that conservatives - real conservatives - are organizing to throw Graham out on his ass, but “Let’s Lugar Lindsey!” is the worst slogan I’ve ever heard.
Consider your opponent: Graham is a gutless liberal who is going to claim that conservatives want to shoot him with a Luger.
Try “No more Grahamnesty!” or “Get rid of Graham!”.

ROCK ON
“That did’nt work out too well for the Hoosier state...”
Yes it did. A traitorous public official was removed from power. The republican caucus in the senate is more conservative with him gone than with him there.
It would have if 'genius' Mourdock had avoided one single word ...
Lee Bright, Matt Bevin and whoever challenges Lamar understand this completely.
We lost a US Senate seat to Joe Donnelly because we didn’t have a replacement for Lugar that could win. It was good to remove Lugar, but I don’t think we gained any ground overall.
It’s better than “Let’s Dick Lindsey.”
