Obama is protected by a pretty paltry Praetorian Guard of extremists: Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Holder, Rangel, Jackson-Lee, and his sycophants in the media. But in the real world, his support from even his own drones would evaporate quickly if he not only signed an illegal treaty but then tried to use government apparatus to enforce it.

Or maybe I retain just enough idealism to believe that.

If he signs this thing, by that act, he is directly going against the oath of office he’s taken not once, but twice.

While not the definition of treason, such an act is most surely a dereliction of duty on Obama’s part. Like many have said, such an act is most definitely an impeachable offense.

But, that said, we know from recent history that the Democrats would pull out all stops to protect their Dear Leader™, so any attempt at impeachment would most likely not succeed.

I admire your degree of idealism. However the layers of globalist support up front AND behind the scenes are not about to jeopardize the Final Stage of America's Death Spiral. Creating Chaos & Anarchy in America and Diving & Conquering have been the goal of the Globalist Puppet and his Masters. That "apparatus " is indeed prepared for imminent use.

BO just does what Jarrett and Axlegrease and Soros tell him to do. I am convinced that he doesn’t think about or worry about anything that goes on in he world. After that lame speech about Egypt the other day, I am totally convinced that they just put paper in front of him and tell him it won’t take but a minute, but just go on TV and read this for us and you can get right back to your sports, vacation and lobster. He delivers for them and gets to live the high life as a trade off.

Just in case anybody missed the following from related posts concerning U.N. "laws," you might find it interesting.

Thomas Jefferson, undoubtedly based on his experience as Vice President and President of Senate, had officially clarified the following about federal government power to negotiate treaties. Jefferson had indicated that the feds cannot use their power to negotiate treaties as a back door to force US citizens to comply with foreign laws based on powers which the states have never delegated to Congress via the Constitution.

"In giving to the President and Senate a power to make treaties, the Constitution meant only to authorize them to carry into effect, by way of treaty, any powers they might constitutionally exercise." --Thomas Jefferson: The Anas, 1793.

"Surely the President and Senate cannot do by treaty what the whole government is interdicted from doing in any way." --Thomas Jefferson: Parliamentary Manual, 1812.

In fact, the Supreme Court reflected on Jefferson's words when it clarified the limits of the federal government's power to negotiate treaties in Reid v. Covert.

"The obvious and decisive answer to this, of course, is that no agreement with a foreign nation can confer power on the Congress, or on any other branch of Government, which is free from the restraints of the Constitution." --Reid v. Covert, 1957.

So just like many of Obama's constitutionally meaningless executive orders, "King" Obama seems to be looking for ways to exercise constitutionally nonexistent Oval Office powers in order to impress the low-information voters who support him.

What the hell?! Unfreakinbelievable! Is anybody going to do anything about this? Or will the UN troops be going door to door to disarm Americans?

To our useless, worthless, sniveling, elititist, exempted-themselves-from-obamacare so called representatives -

Do you have any idea what this is ultimately going to lead to?

Do you want to be remembered in history as the people who stood by and did nothing while Marxists dismantled the Constitution, and enslaved the American people to the State?
Not to mention you will also be responsible for all who are going to be killed in the inevitable war that will arise from this.

Is that what you want?-you bunch of overpaid, pampered cowards!

You could at least TRY and save this country.
You could stand up for it.
You could educate people about the Constitution. (assuming you know what the Constitution is.)
You could sound the alarm about HOW MUCH WE HAVE TO LOSE, if we let the Constitution go.

Ask people: What do we have, if we don't have the Constitution?

If we are not all created equal by our creator with certain inalienable rights, then what are we?
And WHO decides what we are, and what rights we have?
(Are we cogs in the STATE machine-and has anyone informed the people of what their lives will be like, if they let this happen? There are plenty of examples i.e. former Soviet Union, Cuba, North Korea)

What does it mean to not have freedom of speech?-
To not have freedom of religion, or freedom to assemble, or freedom from unreasonable searches, and on and on....bring these issues to the people.

You could stand up and refuse to sit down or shut up- no matter what it costs you.

Even if the left succeeds, and we collapse into equal poverty and misery, at least you would be on record as having warned the people.

But, no, all you care about is getting reelected and collecting your six figure paychecks, and exempting yourselves from what you vote to inflict on the people.

I don't blame the Marxists for what's happening to us, I BLAME YOU.

It is YOUR JOB to defend the Constitution.

Not only is it your job, but, you SWORE AN OATH to defend it.

(Rant: /Off)

I don’t share your pessimism. Although I do believe the time is fast approaching when the quislings like Mcain & Graham & Co. are going to have to choose a side. As will law enforcement and military personnel.

I don’t believe odumbo has ALL of them obamboozled.

You better concentrate on the military personnel because mccain, graham and law enforcement already picked a side, and it's not ours.

The sides haven’t been chosen yet. Nobody is herding Americans into cattle cars and shipping them off to the gulags. And while the gestapo is certainly zeroing in on who the troublemakers are, they haven’t started their midnight raids.

Yet.

When they do — and I believe the time is near — then the McCains and RINO turncoats will make it easy to tell whether they’re friend or foe. The same goes for LEOs. And I don’t believe the latter will move as a bloc. Some will side with us, some won’t.

I think that you are correct on the LEO thing. When the communists [I don't refer to them as anti gun, because they are not anti gun. They just don't want you and me to be able to possess guns.]went bonkers and balls to the wall to get the law enforcement authorities to confiscate guns from the citizens. A good number of Sheriffs refused to go along, so the plan was quietly no longer pushed. It did not die,it is just dormant.

You have way more faith in the cops than I. How many agents of the German government refused to heard Jews onto the rail cars? How many russian agents refused to herd the kulaks into the gulags? How many agents refused to go along with Ruby Ridge or Waco? I’m guessing the answer to those questions is somewhere around zero. Law enforcement has proven itself to be a dangerous animal that will follow whatever orders it’s given.

"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security Operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say goodbye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs , paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every footstep on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would have very quickly suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if....We didn't love freedom enough. And even more-we had no awareness of the real situation......we purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward."
-Aleksander Solzhenitsyn

Once you have an idea of what went on in Soviet Russia (especially under Stalin), you understand the Second amendment. There isn't a better argument for it, then what is written here.

The German and Russian guards were "federal," as were the agents at Waco & Ruby Ridge (FBI, ATF, DEA, etc.). Local sheriffs and even some police are probably less likely to take up arms against their fellow citizens. Some will, no doubt. And the gestapo will always assume the worst and try to minimize local involvement for just that reason. But it's defeatist to look at LEO as one treasonous bloc.

In the end, it will come down to individual citizens and their arms. And we might as well face the fact that we're outnumbered from the outset. All we can do is fight a guerilla war.

But the Minutemen fought the same kind of war, and for the same reasons.

You want to know the difference between today’s american cops and the russians and germans of decades past...? So do I. Last I checked they put their pants on one leg at a time every day. They all probably love their wives and children and waved to their neighbors when they left for work. You see, the important law here that has never been repealed is the law of human nature. You seem to believe it won’t apply to our boys in blue ( or black, that’s the color of the ski masks they wear on their late night raids). I’ll take the under on that wager.

And why do you choose to believe that the law of human nature automatically means those men and women who, by your own admission are just like everyone else, will gravitate to the oppressor? If that were the case, then there would be no resistance; we'd all just go along like sheep.

But in the cross section of America, there are those in ALL walks of life who will refuse to be cowed, and who will stand up for what is right, not just what's convenient.

I hardly think your pessimism is worth celebrating, even if you're right. And in any case, resisting tyranny is not necessarily a means to an end as much as it is an end in itself.

The approval for treaties in the Constitution says 2/3rds of the senators present, what's 2/3rds of zero?

Very soon, we’re all going to get the chance to find out what we’re made of, and whether or not we’re fit to live in a free in a free society.

I'm fairly sure I'm made of meat.
