Former Marine Colonel To Town Council: 'You're Building A Domestic Army; Are You Blind?'
Patriots for America ^ | 8/15/13 | Twana Blevins

Posted on 08/15/2013 10:31:47 AM PDT by Nachum

Every day it seems more like the "war on terror" is at home in the U.S. rather than abroad in a foreign country.

Whether it's the NSA denying they scoop domestic communications while their chief tells hackers "we're looking for the terrorist among us," or it's the growing militarization and equipping of domestic police forces, it seems more and more crows keep coming home to roost.

Well, one former Marine colonel has had about enough.

In a rousing confrontation at a local council meeting in Concord, NH, he calls out his government for facilitating what he feels is a needless militarization of a domestic force.

And he should know, he helped build one in Iraq.

"We did everything we could to build the Iraqi Army, and I'm telling you right now, the Department of Homeland Security would kick their butts."

"What we're doing here, and let's not kid about it, is we're building a domestic army and shrinking the military because the government is afraid of its own citizens ... "

"The last time 10 terrorists were in the same place at the same time was September 11th, and all these [armored] vehicles wouldn't have prevented it, nor would they have helped anything."

"We're building an Army over here and I can't believe people aren't seeing it, is everybody blind?"

The ‘only following orders’ didn’t protect the SS and others at the Nurenburg Trials, and it work here. I hope.

That should be ‘it won’t work’ with the people here.

I see it and the ruling classes of both parties are behind it.

“I think it’s simply matter of “follow the money.””

I agree with this but for different reasons.

The government are the new “elite” and will do anything they can to maintain their status. These tools will help them intimidate the mere taxpayers into continued payments to the new “elite”.

There is nothing this new elite will not do to maintain their pay, benefits, and status.

Those who oppose will be “Swatted” down.

Seems American police are going to find themselves saying: “I was only following orders”.

That, "why me?" as they lay bleeding on the sidewalk in front of their house while getting the morning paper.

I am not advocating anything, just pointing out that unless things change, asymmetrical warfare is the logical outcome of the course we are on.

Gee. I wonder why.

But what we need is a leader to follow, and to get that we need to somehow minimize the effect of our MSM and educational system.

True but once that leader is found.. “something” will be wrong with him/her..
AND many will run that malady into the ground.. with ridicule..

Example: Newt Gingrich..
** Newt was and is an Ice Hole but he is indeed “our” ice hole.. i.e. has the drive and expertise to hamstring and behead the “monster”.. The boy is “just” evil enough to know what to do with “the evil”... merely wants to be paid for doing it.. 10 billion would be a small price to pay him..

He a whore with the right grievance to eviscerate the “PimPs”.. and is way ahead of the other whores.. may even be able to enlist the other whores into the “WHORE WAR”..

Which is what is needed—>> “THE WHORE WAR”.. on socialism.

No criminal expects to be caught. Plenty of rank and file Nazis were never identified, caught or punished. Some of the wanted ones crossed the ocean and found a safe haven.

Besides, Nazis were running the country pretty much unopposed for more than a decade. Then they overextended and collapsed. The new generation of Nazis will not, of course, make that mistake.

There are reasons that may stay the hand of a DHS Einsatzgruppe soldier. But fear of lawful punishment is not one of them. Otherwise there would be no dictators in this world. Einsatzgruppen had 3,000 soldiers in 1941; after the war 18 commanders were tried and executed. Every lowly soldier, like the one in the photo, would feel perfectly safe.

“The NSA was doing then exactly what they’re doing now. How could they not know? How could they not know about Boston? How could they not know about Ft. Hood?”

I think you’re just giving too much credit to the NSA program. No matter how good their software is, it still can only catch a tiny percent of the types of communications that they are looking for. Computers just aren’t at the point where they can match a human for finding patterns that are fluid and don’t conform to expectations.

That was my point, and you obviously know your history.

Interesting factoid: the US no longer has UN sanction for operations in foreign nations, we no longer have cover of International Law.

The government are the new “elite” and will do anything they can to maintain their status. These tools will help them intimidate the mere taxpayers into continued payments to the new “elite”.

But the part where they get rich isn't on their government income. It's on their connections (jobs, stocks, lobbying) to business interests who, it turns out, seem to have a large influence politically and economically as a result. The classic military-industrial-congressional complex, except adding "police" to "military."

The Colonel is correct. This administration is building a domestic army to conquer the American people.
