The Birther movement is grossly ignorant of electronic document processing technology and management attitudes in use during the period the BC was most likely digitized and subsequently destroyed.

In the 80s, document automation was a corporate fad. Bureaucracies were smitten with converting warehouses of paper to computer files. Enormous sums were spent doing so, confidently destroying paper records by the truckload.
One problem: the technology was there like Space Invaders was a game - barely. Far from the high res 300+ dpi whole page scans of today, those systems went thru extreme contortions to fit whole legal pages in today-unbelievably small space. Guided by bizarre legalistic rules determining what pixels were important, this extremely lossy compression - and their decades-later reconstruction in far superior technologies - results in strange visual artifacts which the ignorant & suspicious interpret as proof of conspiracy.
I know many will attack, insult, and demean me for saying this. What do they know but cheap high-res scanners and cheaper terabyte-scale storage? I was there when what I describe was newsworthy and lauded as futuristic breakthroughs fetching many millions of dollars when that was a LOT of money. I’m trying to make a helpful point, warning of the enemy’s capabilities to eviscerate opponents a way our advocates think absurd. When the Obama’s minions get their act together, the “photoshop conspiracy” crowd will look very, very stupid if they don’t get a realistic grip on mid-80s document processing.

I have no personal expertise in pdf analysis, but if these claims cannot be debunked, it will be time for Mike Zullo to stop claiming that these WH pdf features “prove” forgery and prove that a hard copy of the certified BC never existed.
There are still many irregularities, IIRC, that call into question whether this “document” was produced on a circa 1961 typewriter, and every attempt to gain legal release and discovery of the vault copy has been fought to the death by Barry’s team.
Prominent Fogblower “Reality Check” is doing a major “happy dance” over NBC’s claimed findings and today he put up his own blog post (offensive Obot snark alert) which does, at least, include basic instructions on how to try to replicate NBC’s replication at home:

Well not exactly, unless you happen to have a Xerox WorkCentre sitting in the basement. Seriously, many offices have them. After reading some of NBC’s early postings on this I noticed that one of the office machines where I work was a Xerox 7535 WorkCentre.
I did my own test scans on the Xerox WorkCentre 7535. I printed copies of the LFBC then scanned them to email. I used the default settings for scanning to email – 300 dpi, color, and with the Edge Erase feature set at 0.1” all around. I downloaded an older version of Adobe Illustrator and opened the PDF. My jaw dropped. What I saw were almost identical layers to the ones in the White House LFBC. It was astounding.
I sent my file to NBC and he ran it through Preview and saved it as a PDF. Preview added the top level clipping mask that is seen in the White House LFBC.
My office doesn’t have a Xerox but I would like do verify the results. What can I do?
If you do not have access to a Xerox WorkCentre try asking a friend if their office has one. Of course explaining what you want them to do might raise some eyebrows. Another option is to try one of the big office supply outlets like OfficeMax, Office Depot or Staples. They sometimes have these machines available to the public for copying and scanning. You could either email yourself a copy or save it to a thumb drive. You can download an older version of Adobe Illustrator CS2 for free here or download a limited trial version of the latest version from Adobe.
If you do not have any access to the Xerox WorkCentre I am posting the PDF files here so that you can at least inspect them and run you own tests in Illustrator or other software.

On Wed. 8/21 Carl Gallups was on the blog radio program “Where’s Obama’s Birth Certificate” with guest Miki Booth and Fogblower “Reality Check” (RC) called in @ 37:55
Reality Check began telling Carl how the WH pdf was made from a hard copy on a Xerox WorkCentre, but the host thought it was John Woodson and cut him off.
Gallups said he knew who Reality Check was and exactly what he was talking about. Gallups, again, said that Zullo’s team had “no concern” about the Xerox WorkCenter claim and that Zullo knew “all about that” and was “way down the road past that” and that this was Obot “disinformation.”
Gallups said that Zullo had no intention of directly addressing the Obot claims as that would enable further disinformation efforts.
Of special interest, right after Carl got cut off, the host, Michael, said that one of his collaborators had just attended a Ted Cruz presentation and succeeded in passing a “Sheriff’s package” (Arpaio/Zullo video presentations and AL court affidavit, IIRC) to BOTH Ted Cruz’s dad, Raphael and to Jim DeMint, and that they both seemed glad to receive the package.

I have also not formally announced which of your findings I think may be accurate and which I think are not. Frankly, your list of the yet to be explained anomalies is far from complete.
Is this an example of how your thought process works? Agreeing that the document went through Xerox at some point in its life, is not the same as me agreeing with all of your findings. My quote regarding the dollar bill also would not lead most people to believe that I or anyone else believes the Obama LFBC PDF is 99% genuine. It was an example meant to explain a concept. Sorry if you didn’t get that.

Gallups says that Zullo has been investigating an Obot “person of interest” and has found very interesting connections between this Obot (likely RC) and some VIPs (on the other side).
Over at the NBC blog the commenter RC (he/she produced the PDF made on the 7535) has a new comment that he/she has created another PDF.
It has many of the same anomalies as the WH PDF.
He/she is also reporting that there is a new PDF made on a 7435 and that they will be doing trials with green basket weave security paper.

Zullo: Yeah, apparently once they realized we had Congressman Stockman extremely engaged I think they panicked. They tried to put forth a theory that a Xerox copier that purportedly by their accounts was located in the White House and is responsible for creating all the anomalies that you see on this birth certificate document.

Gallups: What you are saying...is that the evidence presented thus far with the Xerox workplace machine is there are some things that are close, but no cigar. It does NOT reproduce ALL of the anomalies that are produced on that fraudulent fabrication, correct?
Zullo: The fact is it’s suspect! It’s suspect on a number of levels because you can reproduce the anomalies of the birth certificate on a PC or a MAC. You can reproduce it by massaging a whole bunch of different programs. That’s what we did in our original testing. You had to get almost need a recipe of disaster to allow this thing to do what it did.
They’re trying to claim this one machine does it all and I’m going to it does NOT. I’m gonna share something else something else with your listeners. This little band of merry men (Foggy, RC, Dr. C, NBC) think they know what we know. I’m going to tell you right now, they don’t.
