Rush Limbaugh is a national treasure. He single-handedly stemmed the liberal flood when his show went on the air. I'm a listener since Gulf War I (Jan. 1991-or-so).
I was deeply honored that he chose my paragraph to cite. I've forgotten exactly what I wrote or even what the subject was, though.
In my opinion, Limbaugh stands as one of the four or five most important conservative thinkers of my lifetime -- with William Buckley, Milton Friedman, Barry Goldwater and their ilk. For FReepers to deny this is to betray their own heritage.
I may be an Okie, but the Stillwater variety, not the Norman variety. My memories of Lincoln are of Walt Garrison being tackled on the 10-yard line as time expired.
