In conversations with multiple big players in the prepper and emergency food niche, I can tell you that they are having a VERY hard time selling their stuff. Traffic has dropped off significantly over the past 4-5 months. Many companies are going back to the drawing board to see how they can more or less re-invent themselves. Prepper and survival expos are continuing to do fairly well, but people who wanted FD food already have it and aren’t buying so much of it anymore.

Hmmm. I should have thought the opposite; that there was enough private and commercial traffic to keep things afloat.

To see someone stoop to putting out rumors and capitalizing on fearmongering doesn’t bode well for them; not the best business integrity there.
