Are they ‘white’ hispanics or ‘black’ hispanics? If they’re black, maybe they’ll get some Sharpton/Jackson attention .... far more effective than La Raza/Beccera (took me a minute to figure out who XB was!!).
Montero is the guy the Mariners picked up from the Yankees a couple of years ago. So far, he’s been a bust, and it’s doubtful he even figures in the Mariners’ future plans at this moment. A catcher, Montero, can’t catch, can’t run, and was batting about .205 when the Mariners sent him down earlier this year. Meanwhile, the Mariners’ 2012 #1 pick - Mike Zunino - became the starting catcher a few weeks ago (currently on DL with broken hamate bone).
As much as I love the game and think it is the best sport, I am disillusioned in MLB’s ability to pass judgment on any player as long as they continue to deny Rose’s induction into the HoF and treat the original steroid record breakers with asterisks.
I keep saying at least it is not the NBA or NFL...

Let me clarify, I have no delusion that players are not using enhancement products or trying to find ways to gain an advantage, my point is in the culture. MLB is not quite proportionally full of thugs and criminals as the NBA and NFL, but that appears to be changing.
