Rush limbaugh Greta | Rush Limbaugh joined Greta Van Susteren for the full hour Tuesday night, and Limbaugh spent the first segment of the program bashing President Obama, sharing the "Limbaugh Theorem" for how the president governs, and taking the "slavish media" to task for not holding him accountable. He also had some choice words for Republicans capitulating too much to the Democratic agenda.
On the "phony scandals" controversy, Limbaugh admitted he was stunned that the president was able to survive 2012 with the bad economy on his back. He came up with the "Limbaugh theorem" to explain why so many people hate Obama's policies yet like him and vote for him: he's "constantly campaigning" and never governing who keeps insisting nothing that ever happens in Washington is his fault.
Limbaugh surmised that Obama could only get away with this because of the "slavish media" that will never call him out on anything. He said that most journalists are "all part of the elitist New York-Washington-Boston media academic corridor and they think they are Obama."
He admitted the 2010 midterms, while it resulted in Republican gains, were not necessarily that good for the party, because no one was "articulating an agenda" and all the Republican votes were "anti-Obama" votes, not votes for a viable alternative. He also slammed Republican leadership for brushing aside the tea party and "its conservative base on a number of issues," saying the big problem with the GOP is too much capitulation to what the Democrats want. Why doesn't the Republican Party embrace them, bring them in and try to grow and have at least come up with a way to reach out and attach themselves to these people, a majority of voters? Instead they're capitulating with what the Democrats want. And not just on this, but on immigration, amnesty, whatever you want to call it.

Thanks.
Reading Twitter posts. Sounds like it was a good interview.

Speaker John “Cave-In” Boehner is the Welfare Democrat’s favorite RINO.

Great show.
I wish Rush would throw his hat in the ring for 2016. He’s as politically smart as anyone we’ve seen in the last 50 years. He should test the waters and see if he has the support. He could at least give it a shot and let the chips fall where they may. His country needs him to save it.
People are ready for a new direction and it would fry the liberals brains (what’s left of them). Never mind he’s never held any office he’s already created more wealth than Obozo could ever dream of. Only problem is, would he even take the pay cut?
Limbaugh/Palin 2016 anyone?
I would vote for that ticket in a heartbeat. I guarantee that Rush and Sarah between them know enough good people to have a superlative administration. And Rush, being the smart guy he is, would have Sarah Palin so busy with putting things right that it would look like a double presidency! hellya! I’d vote for that ticket and contribute time and money for their campaigning.
The only problem with a Limbaugh candidacy is that he would not be able to endorse himself until it was too late and Karl Rove has another Rino locked in for the nomination.
Thanks for posting this.
I'd give my heart and soul to that campaign.... [Sigh]

I wish Rush would at least give it some thought. I think he could actually win.
Even if you don't win it's never wrong to try to save your country from evil.
Rush has my ears nearly every day. What he said tonight was not new nor different from what he says every day.
And therein lies the problem: he’s singing to the choir. Every day. Same choir. (although it’s always fun to see the voice I listen to. And he’s looking great, by the way).
We need (somehow) to get voices like Rush’s to other choirs. Appearing on Fox (same choir) won’t do it.
Failing that, his words are becoming meaningless, I fear, as they have been said since 1989 or so by him to us. (albeit, 20 million of us)
Could you just imagine a Rush vs Hillary debate?
Just imagine 20 million of us ALL campaigning for him.
Let’s be real: he will never run for an office. Too much baggage. He needs to find a new tune to get 20 million of us energized. Other wise, same old same old.
Sorry to be a poop on his message, but it and us are not reaching out (as happened in the 1994 elections or when the Tea Party was “hot”).
No man or woman could possibly fix the mess we’re in. It’s so far gone that it’s going to have to all come tumbling or crashing down before it can even begin to be repaired.
Actually Limbaugh spoke to quite a number of folks he doesn’t
reach on a regular basis. Unfortunately a cable channel such
as FOX doesn’t command the viewership that the alphabet
networks do. And, of course, on any network a Rush interview
would consist of one hour of him having to explain why he
deserves to breathe the same air as the rest of the human race.
Absolutely no alphabet network interview toadie would throw
out topics and allow Rush to run with them like Greta did. That
is why he won’t do TV interviews as a rule. I would, however,
like to see him appear on a few panel format programs where
he would have the opportunity to demonstrate the art of
challenging the idiotic premises and statements of the libturd
guests.
