I know what you mean, but honestly, I've never seen anything that connected that side of the Dunham relatives to the deception. The only one who might have been involved is dear old uncle Charles T Payne, he was Deputy Director of the Library at the University of Chicago at the time SAD was an 'au pair' in Chicago - and he was still there when zero lectured in law at the university. His wife, Melanie, in later years, was on a committee of some kind with the wife of David Axelrod; they all lived in Hyde Park.

He's the brother of Madelyn. That oddly placed hand in the last image belongs to Melanie, they cut her out of the image.
