I've posted this before but IMHO it's the only thing I've seen that suggests that Kenyan origin may not be off the table.

If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation, how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the President of America?

Zero said for years he was born in Kenya, it was written in his little autobiography sent to publishers Or something similar. It was part of his mystique, his “aura”. Apparently some in Kenya believed it; after all, the myth was good for them, too. Zero went to Kenya to have a “reunion” with his long lost “relatives” with plenty of photo ops. Those who didn’t believe were no doubt remunerated appropriately.
