Wow, I would love that as an amendment or two, of course they seem happy to ignore all the other amendments anyways.... so would it reaslly work?

Considering the one severely limits their corrupt-taxation practices, and the other the ability to incur ridiculous debt, as well as making the violations thereof an instant you're out w/ forfeiture of all pensions, you bet that it'd get a reaction.

As for ignoring amendments in-general, I think that's going to bite them in the ass. If they can ignore law at-will, then the people are justified in asserting that the law, thus abriged, cannot offer them protection: i.e. voting from the rooftops becomes a valid method for removing people from office in a lawless land.
