We took a dog to the vet during the heat wave a few weeks back and we to stop for stuff at the grocery store for her.
Hubby said she’d “probably be okay with the car running” for a few minutes.
The look on my face must’ve been awesome.
He just said “never mind” and sat with her in the car until I came out of the store.
[he might as well have suggested we strap her to the grille for the ride home, for all the difference it makes to me]
