IIRC he had a big stash of campaign money left over when he resigned from the House. I think that’s what has given him an advantage over his NYC opponents.
Someone owes Jack Ryan an apology. He only made a fool of himself with his wife, and tried to keep it sealed.

Weiner posts a picture of his thing and wants to be made mayor. A guy working at Subway posts a picture of his thing and gets fired from Subway.
So apparently, a job at a Subway has higher standards than being Mayor.
