But now she is not with us anymore, it is in bad taste to laugh at deceased.
Why? Will it offend the spirit world or something? Will we be haunted because of doing so?

I certainly hope people will laugh with me when I’m gone (especially if I manage a spectacularly stupid exit).

I don’t know but I do know many FREEPERS were not happy when the liberals said negative things about Margaret thatcher. I think both sides go crazy when someone dies.

Helen Thomas has returned in the form of Amanda Bynes.

Tell you what...if you can find a picture of FReepers, or any other conservatives dancing in the streets over Helen Thomas's death the way the commies did when Margaret Thatcher died, I'll agree with you about "both sides." Until then, you are drawing an inaccurate parallel.

There is such thing as Moral Convictions - look it up. It is disappearing concept though, don’t feel bad for not knowing it. FYI: no self-respecting warrior would laugh or otherwise disparage an enemy corpse.

You do realize that is merely your opinion, right?

Of course I do. Just an opinion. Not binding.

So you were part of the lynch mob for the Marines that urinated on a tallybunny?

Not lynching anyone and not going to. I did not approve it though.

Yup. And you are entitled to yours, and I appreciate that you have the conviction and courage to stand up for them.
In this case I happen to disagree with you, but that’s okay.

I was surprised to read that Helen Thomas was 192. I would have guessed somewhere around 120 or so.
