Need to be careful here... McConnell may be more vulnerable in the primary than the general election. Hopefully, the TP in Kentucky has vetted Bevin for attitudes on rape and other hot-button issues. Need to avoid giving the dems freebies like the disaster in November.

it isn’t “attitudes” on rape that blew up the last guy. it’s biology 101 that nailed him.

someone give the guy a high school equivalency tests in bio, pronto. the media will be waiting for just the right moment to lob a grenade into his nest.

My answer to that is, republicans will get new leadership if McConnell is removed, either by Bevin or by Grimes. McConnell’s been there since 1985. He’s old, tired and a piss-poor leader. And he frequently undermines conservatives. I’m done with being a “keep the seat in republican hands at all cost” man. We are better off without Mike Castle. We are better off without Richard Lugar. We are better off without Olympia Snowe. We are better off without Scott Brown. And we will be better off without McConnell.

Kentucky is a pretty republican state and the people are becoming more and more aware of the democrats’ games. So I think it’s likely a republcan would be elected there anyway.
