Another thing I find misleading about this article is the statistic that “Violent Attacks on Whites Increased %18”. It implies that these violent attacks against white people are being committed by black people. Sure, some of them are, but my understanding is that most violent crimes against blacks are committed by blacks, and most violent crimes against whites are committed by whites.
So, yes, violent attacks on white people probably have increased by 18%. But, historically those attacks are mostly committed by whites. As for what percentage increase there is of violent attacks against white people being committed by black people, the article doesn’t say.
