Sometimes the zero tolerance mentality of the right is a thing to behold. Well not of the right. Just of people claiming to be part of it that have no business doing it.
What part of “I’m not defending the rule” confused you the most? The “not” or the “defending”?
I defended the right of a school to enforce their rules. Let’s say tou want to go to a movie theatre, and they for some reason don’t allow you to buy popcorn. That seems stupid to me; but I choose whether to go or not, I don’t go, smuggle in popcorn, and then get upset if I get caught.
BTW, extra credit points to you for equating the holocaust to eating chocolate. Because nothing trivializes the murder of 6 million people like comparing it to a rule against hershey bars.
