Did President Barack Obama find a way to vote twice in the 2012 elections? I honestly have no idea but we do have some incredible new evidence that raises serious questions. First lets start with what we know about Barack Obama. Lets go back to a November 6th article on Slate.com:
President Obama will be able to spend as much time campaigning on Election Day as he wants to because he voted in Illinois on Oct. 25. An Explainer reader points out that the Obama family resides more than 700 miles from Chicago, at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, NW in Washington, D.C. Why is the president eligible to vote in Illinois?

What difference does it make?
One of the Breitbart gang probably registered him.
Obama should still be able to vote in Illinois so that is not a problem. However, if he is voting in DC and Illinois, then that is a problem.
The party affiliation on the card gives it away as a prank. It reads ‘Democratic’.
I ran the check on the database, and it is still there.
hee hee hee
Welcome to the Obamanation /sarcasm
Thanks deandg99.
Next election check for both of his votes. If he does vote, perhaps a “state” government will go after his sorry behind and put him in jail where he belongs.
Nooooo... even he wouldn’t.
On the other hand, this reminds me of the sort of behavior exhibited by arsonists who could have gotten away clean, but need to come and see the fire.
Only if they filmed it! One can only hope.
I agree (although in the order listed, fraud is option 2). In all likelihood someone put this in to show how weak the voter registration system is. Do the records show that anyone actually voted under that registration? I doubt that anyone would have voted absentee for it because the ballot would have been sent to the White House. Similarly, why would anyone risk an in-person vote when they could have just as easily registered John Smith at 1602 Pennsylvania Avenue without risking a poll worker calling it out. A Democrat poll worker will let a thousand John Smiths through with a wink but might stop this for fear that it is a James O'Keeffe style undercover operation.
In the condo complex I now live in in East York, PA, 20 of the 36 units’ owners live and vote here in York County (spring-summer-fall), and also hold drivers licenses and voter registration cards in various towns/counties in FL (winter). They’re called “snowbirds”; I’ve told them that it’s illegal, and it doesn’t bother any of them. With one Independent exception, they’re all Republicans. As a registered Conservative, I can only vote in the GEs, not in the primaries.
Oh good grief!
Washington D.C. election results -
Obama - 267,070
Romney - 21,381
I can’t believe that someone’s obvious idea of a stupid joke is actually taken seriously by folks here. C’mon! We’re supposed to be the smart folks, not the low information voters! I can’t believe that any sharp, discerning conservative voter would truly get punked this easily!
Big surprise...
The whole living in various states during the year vs. having to be a citizen of but one state(?) seems to be a patchwork of rules without adequate resolution on any number of issues.
That’s part of the legal quandary: they own property and pay taxes in both states. Plus, have dual states’ drivers licenses. I understood it to be illegal to vote twice, but now I’m not so sure, since you put it that way, if they meet the state legal requirements for primaries and GEs. I could understand it if it were for only local elections, but on a national scale, I’m unsure.
Anyone know the specific law on this?
It’s obviously possible to be a US citizen but not a citizen of any of the 50 States.
Okay. Doesn’t a person from another country need a US address to apply for US Citizenship? Or is that just for a passport (I have 2 expired passports).
But is it *legal* to hold dual state driver’s licenses, own property & pay taxes in 2 states, and vote in 2 states? I’m just wondering. A lot of my “snowbird” neighbors don’t have a problem with it, and 2 or 3 of them are attys.
Now, I’m really confused.
Think about residents of Puerto Rico and other US territories along with expats.
