Like my wife’s old Saturn VTR VUE. They are out of business and the Tranny is not economically repairable. It has been setting idle for 5-6 years.
We bought it with 1,200 miles on it from the dealership, but were excluded on the Class Action warranty except for 50% of the repair cost. Estimated at $4,700 back then. The repaired warranty was 5,000 miles/1 month. hee hee hee
What a joke.
Bye bye Rust Belt. I actually feel sorry for the decent people left there.

We need to get one million Tea Party members to march on Detroit. Then buy homes there and fix them up. And then run for mayor and city council.
Never happen, but could you imagine that apoplexy if the Tea Party tried to take Detroit by economic storm and overwhelm it in population?

I blame much of the mess on one Coleman Young. His remarks in the middle 1970's accelerated the white flight out of Detroit itself (it was more than just white flight--even blacks that were doing well left post haste) and we were left with a city of destitute people (mostly blacks) that lived in conditions just about as bad as a city in a Third World country. (shaking head)
