Lets step back and take a long, hard look at what Eric Holders Justice Department is doing right now.
George Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting of Trayvon Martin. He has no further business in court with the state of Florida and is a free man.
Rather than accept the jurys verdict, Holders DOJ convened a conference call with several left-wing groups to plot a course to continue harassing Zimmerman. With FBI agents on the call, Holder sought information from those groups to help build a case.
Do those groups know Zimmerman or have any personal knowledge of the case that was not presented in the trial? Its extremely unlikely that they do.
Holders DOJ is also releasing an email address to which people are being exhorted to send tips about George Zimmerman, again, to build a case against him.
Did George Zimmerman rob a bank? Did he shoot an airplane out of the sky? Did he bring a building down?
No. He was acquitted by a jury in a fair court trial.
But the United States Department of Justice is focusing on this one man, who has been put through due process and acquitted in a court of law.
Today, we learn that the United States Department of Justice is ordering the state of Florida to break its own law.
The state case against Zimmerman is over. He won. He is entitled under Florida law to assume custody of any of his property that the state seized in the process of prosecuting him.
Holder says no, he cant have it.....

Show me anywhere where I asked you to call him or consider him a hero. Martin was a 17 year old. Last time I checked, 17 year-olds cannot possess firearms of any kind, much less pistols and certainly cannot carry concealed, right? As I understand it, Mr. Zimmerman was searching for street signs to tell the non-emergency dispatcher where to send the police officers when he was sucker-punched by Trayvon. And I don’t care if you are FR member number one.
Stalking?
Hmmmm... What would you do if saw a suspicious person in you’re neighborhood?
Author Brad Thor tweeted that he’s gonna but George a new gun anyways.
I’ve never read his books, but I am now.
I can’t afford to buy GZ a gun, but I can at least support the person who will. Thor is a great American.
What does any of the above mean?
As for the rest I think GZ showed a glaring lack of situational awareness. But there are few here that will allow any criticism of him at all.
But DOJ ok’d Fast & Furious...
Zimmerman’s lawyers are good enough to get his gun back.
Too bad we don’t have a President who will unite people and support the rule of law in all situations.
You said “Had Martin been armed there would be an unsolved murder in Sanford, Zimmermans.” and I responded to that thought. That’s what it means.
Call the police. But I would have a flashlight and a drawn weapon if I were planning to play cop myself.
TM could still have been armed for all GZ knew. Legality is not relevant at that point. If GZ could have been cold coked he could have been shot even easier.
He almost was cold-conked by the first punch to his face and the subsequent beating against the pavemment. Did you watch even one minute of this trial? Man-o-Manischevitz!
So I don’t get it. You’re criticizing him for playing cop (not true btw), but yet you are also criticizing him for not playing cop enough by drawing his weapon?
My dad chased a creepy guy out of our neighborhood one night who turned out to be a peeping tom. He probably would have shot him, if he had gotten close enough.... But he at least took off outside to see who it was... Was he or any of the thousands of men who do that all the time “playing cops”?
Gun confiscation
Then you would probably get arrested for brandishing or some other offense like kidnapping (holding someone against their will with a gun is kidnapping).
He had a flashlight, but TM knocked it out of his hand when he sucker-punched him and broke his nose.
On Hannity.
Arrgh—posted before I was finished with my post. The flashlight batteries apparently went dead, and at one point GZ was fiddling around with it, trying to get it to work. That may have been when TM confronted then punched him.
BTW, the Neighborhood Watch guidelines stated that one should never confront the suspicious person, but to call the Non-emergency number. That is pretty much what GZ did. He only got out of his truck after TM took off running. The NEN operator, as he testified in court, didn’t even know GZ was ever in his truck. He thought GZ was outside, on foot, the entire time.
Testimony and evidence says he had a flashlight. I fear you you speaking from ignorance.
Totally criminal government. However, with a few major cities declaring bankruptcy, won’t be long until the welfare stops, and SHTF. People, keep your powder dry.
Wanted?
Haven’t you heard — Ewick’s fwend Biggus Dickus is pwefect of Wome and commands cwack wegions!
