A good comparison of this would be the pampered Hollywood crowd vs our military men and women (and I'm not talking the affirmative action or well connected)

The military is overwhelmingly pro conservative because of hard work and personal responsibility. The Hollywood crowd is used to being pampered and adored. They talk about doing good, but for the vast majority, its just lip service, or token deeds.

Exactly, a perfect analogy. In nature, where nature provides the resources, things stablize out. In our population though, as we “go r-selected”, we get a lot of laziness and selfishness, which destroys the free resource availability, and collapses our societal ecosystem.
