Twitter Explains Why White People Riot (She had to reach back to 1919 for an example)

With the George Zimmerman case winding down, another funny hashtag addresses the widespread fear of blacks rioting.

There's lots of buzz and fear out there about black people rioting in the streets if a verdict other than "guilty" is handed down in the George Zimmerman case. As the trial winds down, there's no shortage of fearmongering in the media, from radio and TV to print and online.

But black folks aren't the only ones with the capacity to channel hot emotions through destructive means. No one seems to remember the Red Summer race riots of 1919, an entire season of deadly riots mostly sparked and led by whites. Everyone also forgets how soccer and hockey fans like to burn things up and tear things down when their favorite teams win or lose.

But the question posited is always whether or not black people will riot in cases like this. If George Zimmerman is acquitted, will black people be angry enough to resort to violence? Why aren't we worried about other folks rioting if Zimmerman is found guilty? Surely it couldn't be that, collectively, blacks are still seen as savage creatures who can't help resorting to primitive means of emotional dealing, right? Nah, couldn't be that.

Perfect. However, you forget that the same mentality that drives race riots drives socialist/communist/anarchist riots. It's all about "gimme stuff and I hate America". They all suck and I wish we were back in the day when rioters/looters were shot.

The race baiters, from obama and holder, right on down the line to the black panthers, along with the la raza crowd and the illegals, are trying to back Americans into a corner, trying to force them to lash out, and using that as an excuse to retaliate and foment their revenge. I guarantee you there will no "race war". The black looters will never go outside of their inner city. There is reason that every black riot through the last 30 years? has not impacted the suburbs. They have long known we are armed and ready. We may be the quite majority, but pushed too far, we will fight back (think Korean store owners in the LA riots of 1991).

Just stay away from the inner-city. Let them burn down their own neighborhoods if they must, but you and I will laugh and eat popcorn as they destroy their own livelihoods. Watch and learn as I have over 63 years with the Watts, Rodney King, Detroit, Chicago, et al riots. They NEVER go into the white areas, especially now that gun sales have increased 4 fold since Obama.

I laugh at the prospect of them burning their own stores to the ground. I actually hope it happens. Could wake some people up.

The whole idea of (some collective group) riot is misleading.

For the most part, a riot is not much more than a lot of people gathered together that are emotionally charged and some idiot lights a firecracker or throws a punch.

Had the shot heard 'round the world never been fired, would there be a united States?

Acedemic and moot, but my point is, a riot is accomplished just by gathering a group of people ... the rest is easy.

I haven't read this article, and I probably won't, but the article is written with the purpose of aligning mentalities. Some people will nod in agreement and some will pass on.

Personally, I think there will be an attempt to foment a black and white war beginning with The Zimmerman trial, but it is an attempt to gloss over the contempt ALL people have have for Barack Obama and his racist regime.

If there is rioting to be had, let it be in DC and let it be specific towards the government ... not each other.

The left is always about violence, or at least the threat of it. I don't believe the violence blacks have done is inherent in their own values or culture, other than what they have borrowed from the Left. White liberals are the true poison in western civilization.

But that's not likely to happen. In 1992 the black mobs burned parts of Koreatown, incinerating Korean-owned shop after Korean-owned shop; these shops were not their own. Some survived. I hope the shop owners are as prepared this time around.

Maybe the reason “no one seems to remember” them is that if you were 10 years old in 1919 you would be 104 years old today.

I don't know what happened in 1919 but I don't trust the authors version of events.

I cannot believe how destructive the media has been on this case. But now to find out that anti-white Racist Eric Holder had a hand in it too is just too much.

The Obama administration is basically waging a war on the white middle and lower middle classes and nobody cares. In fact, the Republicans are fixing to hand him a big fat victory that will also come at the expense of the middle and working class (of all colors).
