2014 is the last chance that Congress will be able to maintain checks on the White House.

Once the Democrats take control of Congress in 2014, 2016 will not matter. The GOP is dead now anyway. The only thing different is there will be an official State funeral for the Republican Party when the Democrats have full control in 2014 and will continue when Hillary is elected in 2016.
