You’re actually pretty far off in this case, since he was talking specifically about the heterosexual element of the pedophile population. Besides, how many stories we read isn’t any way to gauge those kind of numbers.

Members here are far more conservative than the rest of the country, even among those people who classify themselves as "conservative". The articles posted here tend to reflect that.
I believe that a lot of folks, if not most, consider F.R. members to be extremest. I readily admit to that moniker and am proud of it.
Goldwater said "extremism in the defense of liberty is not a vice", those may not be the exact words but I agree with the philosophy 100%.
For instance, I don't ever remember reading at F.R. about voter fraud among republicans, it's always democrats. Surely some republican, somewhere, has committed voter fraud.
