In a situation that could previously only be conjectured as happening in North Korea, Nazi Germany, or some other tyrannical nation, schoolchildren are going to be used as pawns of the State to promote Obamacare. Where is this Orwellian event occurring, you ask? It's happening in the big government loving state of California.
It seems that the Los Angeles school district is using a state grant to teach students to be "messengers" for the law. The district was awarded $990,000 for this purpose, and the California health insurance exchange is spending $37 million in grants overall according to the Heartland Institute. Guess there's no money shortage in ol' California. A spokesman for the school district said that the children will be part of a pilot program to see if they can be trained to "deliver outreach and limited education to family and friends in and around their homes.” The district will also use staff, paid by our tax dollars, to promote Obamacare by calling students' homes, in-class presentations, and meeting with eligible employees.
I find this whole scenario appalling and chilling. As always, big government progressives use the most vulnerable, our children, to promote and enact their agenda. They'll say that the program is voluntary, but we all know that there are a host of unseen pressures to force these school kids to do the liberals' bidding. Plus, this is just wrong on a fundamental level as schools should not be an instrument of propaganda. Schools should focus strictly on education, be as conservatives, we all know that propaganda and pushing their agenda is why the progressives have taken over our education system. Teachers unions and progressives always say that they're doing it for the children, but it is a fact that one out of three Los Angeles students do not graduate high school. How about focusing on teaching the basics and stop with the brainwashing?
I'm sure it won't be long before these Hitler Youth...excuse me, Obama Youth....are turning in their parents to the school authorities for not properly showing their gratitude to Dear Leader and taking advantage of the system. Is this still America?

The Obamas took advantage of the need for American youth groups and used what teenagers wanted to slip in Obama ideals, took over the education system to portray Obama views, and used the school system to glorify Muslims and Gays; they also often alienated children from their parents.

I don’t see how anyone thinks this is ok. It just smacks of government indoctrination and a gross overreach of power...
But to progressives, that’s a good thing! (If they’re the ones in power.)
