Some people are “born that way” with a hankerin’ for sex with small children. Some people are “born that way” with an overwhelming urge to murder strangers. Being “born that way” doesn’t make any action right. In the end, you make choices — are you an animal with no self control, or do you choose to do the right thing and manage your urges? If something is clearly spelled out in the Bible as wrong, it doesn’t make sense to rule that out in favor of the lowest common denominators in humanity.
That’s another point that I never understand! Instead of bending one’s lifestyles to one’s beliefs many people do the opposite and bend their beliefs to match their lifestyle (ie gay church) In the end it is God, not society to which every man is accountable.
