If you wanted a platform to speak about your own experience, you should have just done so, instead of asking me. As it is, I answered you in sincerity.
What other folks do, is between them and God, but shuunning a member of your own family simply because they joined another faith, is something that only makes matters worse between people who should love one another.
Sadly, it happens both ways...and, IMHO, is wrong.
