Here's an article I posted from American Thinker written by a Marine Infantry Officer last month that addresses that and he contends it's much less in the military.
Yeah, this reminds me of the stories in the 1980s of Vietnam vets being wife-beaters that wind up becoming homeless because they can’t handle society anymore. This all culminated with a big 60 Minutes expose. Just one problem: the number of Vietnam vets being gainfully employed is significantly above the national average and the number of them committing crimes is significantly below the national average. The same “veterans are returning home and going psycho” garbage stories are being pounded by the media today.
