This morning on WMAL, Allen West was asked if he would be open to a primary challenge against Rubio given all the disaffected Rubio voters in the state of Florida. While hemming and hawing on the subject a bit, he didnt rule out the possibility and agreed that an immigration reform bill as long as this one is not what the American people want. So lets just say its a possibility.

I hope he does it!! It would serve Rubio right to get thrown out by the same Tea Partiers who put him in office!
Sweet. Nothing would force the ‘moderate’ in Rubio to the surface faster.
“given all the disaffected Rubio voters in the state of Florida”.
Yes, and that’s a lot, given that the only reason Rubio won is because of the TEA Party. This amnesty bill sure is a bold slap in the face.
I could see Rubio pulling a Crist or a Murkowski.
Yep, absolute power corrupts absolutely. It is nirvana for them.
I’m betting they’re already rigging the voting machines for RINO Rubio.
Terrific plan if the goal is to add to the Dem majority.
Allen West is a great guy but he is not going to run as strong as Rubio in a state that leans further left in every election. Knock Rubio if you like. I’m no big fan. But at least he is not an automatic Harry Reid commanded vote.
West should figure out how to win back his old seat.
Totally agree.
Its hard for me to see how West could win statewide when he could not win his own Congressional seat as an incumbent.
On the bright side, just the talk of a primary challenge may keep Rubio from straying too far to the left.
I have sworn an oath: I will contribute $1,000 to any candidate who opposes Rubio in the 2016 Primary.
Rubio must be voted out of office. If he remains in the Senate, he will continue to hurt this country by his treachery.
