I have never understood why the liberals, and the professional feminists, hate Sarah Palin so much.
Sarah Palin is the living example of what the feminists say they want to see in women. She is an accomplished professional woman, who has risen to the highest levels of her chosen profession. She has a happy marriage and family life. She truly “has it all”, based on the criteria of feminists who anguish about women having to choose between family life and professional career. Sarah has combined those very effectively in her life.
If Sarah Palin were liberal, I have a feeling that the liberals and professional feminists would revere her as a combination of Annie Oakley, Rosie the Riveter, and Joan of Arc. Instead, due to mere political differences, they blank all over her, and heap abuse upon her.
And they can’t stand to see the love she shows for little Trig.
Feminists hate Sarah Palin because she refused to have an abortion..they see that beautiful little child and see the child that they aborted..Feminists are all about abortion, they can’t stand seeing a child that was allowed to live
Here’s my view:
Progressive feminists are all about furthering their progressive ideology, has little to do with “women”, per se. They have never championed conservative women and, in fact, do what they can to destroy strong conservative women “leaders”, and ridicule/demean any other conservative women who are not in leadership positions.
Feminism has never had anything to do with women as a gender, but everything to do with empowering both men and women who would further their progressive agenda.
Once you understand that, you will no longer say “I have never understood why the liberals ... hate Sarah Palin so much”.
She is Christian.
She is beautiful.
She is happily married to a strong man and has a beautiful family.
She is staunchly pro-life.
She does not have a snobbish education.
She is a true conservative.
There are numerous reasons why the feminists hate her, but I think these are the main ones.
