Bombing strikes were conducted by men who were shot all to Hell and back. Ever watch ‘Twelve O’Clock High’ with Gregory Peck? It’s still watched in the War College for lessons in leadership.

Every bombing mission was calculated based on reconnaissance photos for the purpose of taking out the Nazi war machine, not for bombing tracks of detainment camps based on allegations of atrocities.

Interviews were conducted of detention camps and the Nazis put on a show to show how well those detained were treated. There was no direct evidence of the atrocities that were occurring.

A large percentage of the brave American men that flew in those critical bombing missions were shot dead or died as their bombers crashed. Given a target as a German munitions factory versus train tracks leading to a detainment camp where alleged things were happening, and given the high probability that those flying in the mission would never return alive, the choice was clear.

The probability of being shot dead or dying in a crash was so high that many flight crews requested transfer. The strategic bombing effort nearly failed until the leadership and the men flying accepted that death was likely. That persons like Netanyahu would not honor the American war effort and all those that died in battling the Nazis is an egregious slander to true heroes.

Netanyahu shows himself to be a puny little man who has not one iota of the courage that American soldiers, sailors and marines expressed during WWII.

False!

From 1942 Karski reported to the Polish, British and U.S. governments on the situation in Poland, especially on the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Holocaust of the Jews. He had also carried out of Poland a microfilm with further information from the underground movement on the extermination of European Jews in German-occupied Poland. The Polish Foreign Minister Count Edward Raczynski provided the Allies on this basis one of the earliest and most accurate accounts of the Holocaust. A note by Foreign Minister Edward Raczynski entitled The mass extermination of Jews in German occupied Poland, addressed to the governments of the United Nations on 10 December 1942, would later be published along with other documents in a widely distributed leaflet

The B-17 had a bad record for taking bullets. They sliced right through her.

A puny little man? He served in the Israeli special forces.
He has walked he walk and put it on the line showing
every bit the courage we showed during wwII Not to mention
the last fifty years of terror and intifada.
I am happy to know that Israel has a PM of his quality
and spine. I would go to battle with this man and never
fear his fellowship to die with me.
A time is fast approaching when where our hearts will be
and the course they take will have an effect beyond what
we conceive it to be.

Ams Israel Chai ! The People of Israel LIVE!!!

BB himself was an IDF commando who saw action and was wounded. He also lost his brother, Lt. Col. Yoni Netayahu in the spectacular anti-terror raid at Entebbe, Uganda in 1976 - so don't take that away from him. He does appreciate the sacrifice of the Allies in WWII, he knows war, he's seen it. This was a lecture at Auschwitz designed to basically get the world to wake up to the next Nazi War machine about to go nuclear, that is why he pushed this issue.
The film 12 o'clock High is one of the best war films made. Gregory Peck was impeccable. This film spawned a TV series in the 1960’s. Next to this film, IMHO, stands HBO’s Band of Brothers...
