To: null and void

That’s a long article.

But I don’t care WHY the government feels it can deny my constitutional rights. The fact is, the government can not deny me my constitutional rights.

Yes it is a long article. And, all of this spying on us citizens IS constitutional if viewed under a National Emergency.

The fact is, the government can not deny me my constitutional rights.

I was thinking about this last night. What IS a right? What properties constitute a right? You hear liberals constantly harping about about people have a RIGHT to an abortion and a RIGHT to a living wage and a RIGHT to eat and a RIGHT to a home. Do they really understand what they're saying?

A right, as ensconced by our Constitution, is an extant thing that's granted by God and cannot be taken away by man. The right to defend oneself is so basic as to be considered a "no brainer." On the Serengeti, lions, tigers, antelopes, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, boars, hyenas, birds of prey, they all live together. When a lion is hungry, she chases down an antelope to eat. That antelope has the RIGHT to run as far and as fast as it can to avoid that lion. It can kick, headbutt, trounce, scream, whatever is has to do to get away from that predator, it can and will do. It has that RIGHT. That right cannot be taken away.

Well how about a living wage? Do we have a right to a "living wage?" What is a living wage? Essentially, it's enough money to pay the bills and provide basics for one to live. Okay, fair enough. Is it my responsibility as a working American to provide a living wage to anyone other than my wife and me? Is it the RIGHT of someone who refuses to work because they're lazy, unmotivated, illiterate, or otherwise lack the drive to survive to receive assistance? I contend that while it is the right for every man, woman, and child to PURSUE happiness, it's not a guarantee that they'll all be happy. Likewise, just because someone says they deserve a "living wage" doesn't mean I'm going to give it to them.

Likewise, the government cannot tell me that the whore up the street has the RIGHT to an abortion because she can't keep her God forsaken legs closed. If anything, it should be my RIGHT to demand she be sterilized since she's affecting my wife's and my household income by using my taxes to pay for her indiscretions.

Rights exist because God granted them to us. They are irrevocable. They cannot be infringed. Government can TRY, but they will never succeed. It is my RIGHT to speak, it is my RIGHT to associate, it is my RIGHT to practice my religion. It is my RIGHT to defend myself with whatever tools I damn well please. It is my RIGHT to be secure in my person, my possessions, and my property. It is my RIGHT to keep quiet and not speak to anyone about anything I've done. That's between me and my God.

This government has trounced all over our rights for over 100 years. It's about damn time we take it all back.
